Adams Building Built for Thomas Adams an entrepreneurial and philanthropic figure in Nottingham’s rapidly expanding Lace manufacturing industry the building was designed by one of the outstanding Victorian architechs Thomas Hine. The high historical value of the Adams Building meant that conservation of the buildings was a high priority at every stage of the cleaning and restoration project. Works on the facade begin with on-site cleaning trials. Following the cleaning of the buildings of the facades we surveyed at close range and detailed drawings, and specifications were prepared designating the location and full extent of each type of repair.
